We are currently seeking an Education Programme Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a two year fixed term contract.

The Role
As an Education Programme Practitioner, you will support the design, delivery and evaluation of a programme of creative projects for young people aged 11–19 years.
Working with the Education Programme Manager, you will lead the delivery of work streams around creative careers, work experience and projects for young people attending alternative education settings.
You will ensure sessions are inclusive and accessible and work to reduce the barriers young people face in taking part in creative initiatives. On top of this, you’ll be getting involved in creative outputs such as podcasts, films, anthologies and performances, making this a fun and engaging environment to work in.
Additionally, you will:
- Co-plan and co-deliver sessions alongside freelance tutors
- Be a consistent point of contact for partners on the ground during off-site delivery
- Work with the Youth Work Team to support progression pathways, signposting and pastoral support
- Draft standard contracts, hire agreements, letters and other relevant documentation
- Assist with tracking and monitoring allocated budgets, income and expenditure
About You
To be considered as an Education Programme Practitioner, you will need:
- Experience co-ordinating creative programmes for young people
- Experience facilitating and delivering creative projects for young people within an education or community setting
- Experience providing administrative support for creative programmes
- Experience working with people who display challenging behaviour
- Experience implementing safeguarding measures across programmes of work
- Experience working in a team and co-ordinating external artists and/or tutors
You must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
