We are currently seeking a Youth Worker to join us on a permanent, part-time basis, working 21 hours per week, including regular evening and weekend work.

The Role
As a Youth Worker, you will support and encourage a diverse range of 11-25 year olds to engage with our opportunities at the Roundhouse.
Ensuring the highest standards of service, you will assist the young people using our studios (many of whom will have multiple and complex needs) with pastoral support, in both 1:1 and group settings.
You will enable young people to develop resilience, knowledge and skills to improve their life chances whilst also undertaking administrative and front-facing duties, staffing our studio front desk as a first point of contact for all young people.
About You
To be considered as a Youth Worker, you will need:
- Experience of working with marginalised/disadvantaged young people between the ages of 11 and 25 and communities in informal educational or youth work settings
- Experience of working with young people with a range of multiple and complex needs
- Experience in dealing with challenging behaviour and facilitating conflict resolution
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding 11-25 year olds
- Experience of monitoring, evaluation and record keeping
- Experience in working with varied and diverse staff teams
- Experience of administration, Word and Microsoft Excel and working with CRM systems
- Knowledge of youth-focused activities and organisations
- An understanding of health and safety and risk assessments
- Excellent communication skills
