The Role
The Roundhouse is one of the most unique and exciting venues in London, hosting a wide variety of gigs, performance and events. The Food and Beverage Department provides all the services related to Food and Beverage throughout the Roundhouse, including gig venue bars, pop-up experiences, hospitality services and running the Roundhouse Bar & Café on a day to day basis. All profits generated through F&B go directly towards supporting the work of the Roundhouse and its creative programme.
The back of house (BOH) team supports the F&B managers by completing the logistics required behind the scenes in order to deliver the wide variety of services we offer. Primary focuses of this role will include working alongside the current BOH Supervisors to manage the control and movement of stock throughout the venue, from accepting deliveries, through to supplying bars around the venue during service; cellar management during a show; and movement of bars in and out of the venue as required, ensuring the team are doing so with the best H&S practices. And supporting team members working alongside you on a shift.
About you:
Our ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong experience in cellar operations and stock management. They will have a proactive approach to work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is an ability to work at a fast pace, and stay calm under pressure.
