The Role
The Roundhouse is one of the most unique and exciting venues in London, hosting a wide variety of gigs, performance and events. The Food and Beverage Department provides all the services related to Food and Beverage throughout the Roundhouse, including gig venue bars, pop-up experiences, hospitality services and running the Roundhouse Bar & Café on a day to day basis. All profits generated through F&B go directly towards supporting the work of the Roundhouse and its creative programme.
The Roundhouse Bar supervisors will support the Food and Beverage team by running shifts in all bar areas. Primary focuses will include ensuring the highest levels of customer service, assistance with training of new members of staff, maintaining consistently excellent product delivery, managing the completion of daily and weekly tasks as required, and ensuring that health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing standards are always maintained.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Managers, this is a casual position requiring flexible working hours and working evenings and weekends as required.
About you:
Our ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running and will need to demonstrate strong experience in bar supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is an ability to work not only at a fast pace, staying calm under pressure, but also during quiet times, maintaining standards and staff motivation.
