We're the UK’s leading creative centre for young people, engaging more than 10,000 young people annually through our creative youth programme.
The Role:
The Roundhouse Food & Beverage Bartenders play a key role in supporting the Food & Beverage Supervisors and wider Food & Beverage management team by delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating excellent product knowledge.
This position is essential in ensuring that anyone who visits the Roundhouse has a memorable experience. Whether that be pouring the perfect pint, or recommending a new favourite beverage, our bartenders are committed to enhancing each guest's visit through attentive service and a passion for hospitality.
Primary responsibilities will be providing excellent, friendly and inclusive customer service to diverse audiences, driving revenue, maintaining excellent and consistent product delivery and product knowledge, and working to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Licensing standards as set by Food & Beverage Managers, and Supervisors.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs. Our bar team works across varying shows and gigs which mainly fall on weekends and evenings. Please take this into consideration when applying.
About you:
We are looking for individuals to join our ever growing bar team on a casual basis. The Roundhouse bar welcomes around 3000+ visitors per night, so we are looking for individuals to hit the ground running in an ever changing setting; such as gigs, or DJ nights as well as corporate events.
Successful applicants must show they are proactive, adaptable, and experienced Food & Beverage Bartenders with strong attention to detail, and who have great customer service skills, an ability to work calmly under pressure, and a passion for hospitality.
We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own skills, experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same. We encourage those currently underrepresented across the cultural sector and all intersections of our diverse society to apply.
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
