The Role
The Creative Programme Coordinator (casual) will work alongside Programme Managers and other co-ordinators to ensure the smooth running of a dynamic programme of high quality creative projects for young people and young adults aged 11 – 30yrs.
This role supports the delivery of youth programmes across a range of creative disciplines, onsite at the Roundhouse, to ensure a consistent offer that is accessible for all young people.
The role includes programme administration, and ensuring the relevant resources / equipment are sourced and present for the creative sessions in order to ensure the smooth running of activity on or off site. The co-ordinator is a regular presence during sessions and will communicate with and welcome freelance tutors, visiting guest tutors as required as well as leading, documenting and recording the briefing and debrief sessions with the Freelancers and Youth Work staff. They will build positive relationships with young people and their parents to ensure sessions are inclusive, accessible, and work to reduce the barriers young people face in taking part in creative initiatives.
About you:
We are looking for someone with experience of supporting the co-ordination of creative programmes and working directly with young people aged 11 - 30 years.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, enjoy working in a team and have a commitment and understanding of diversity and inclusion. You will be solution focussed and able to proactively problem solve in the moment and have the ability to prioritise workload. You will have sound understanding and experience of complying with safeguarding measures.
As we are looking to provide casual working opportunities starting in February 2025, priority will be given to those who currently have an enhanced DBS check issued in the last 2 years.

Contract: Casual (this means that there is no obligation for the Roundhouse to offer work and no obligation for you to accept any work that is offered. Please note, we are unable to guarantee the same working hours/shifts each week)

Rate: £13.44 per hour
