The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Visitor Service who will achieve first class service delivery by leading and inspiring the Visitor Services and Food and Beverage teams and venue health and safety. The Head of Visitor Service will lead on Visitor Services, Food and Beverage, Volunteer and Security Strategies and act as Designated Premises Supervisor.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of health and safety, complex licensing, commercial management and visitor safety security including management of the Operating Plan. They should also be customer focused and understand statutory and requirements and obligations both from a Food and Beverage and visitor perspective.
This role will ensure management of the Major Incident Plan, Counter Terrorism procedures and Business Continuity.
The Head of Visitor Service will be required to work across departments to ensure the smooth and safe running of the site on a daily basis while also updating, and introducing new policies and procedures where necessary.
Budget management experience is essential, as is contractor management.
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £47,000 to £51,000 per annum
Interviews: Wednesday 19th May 2021
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.
