The Film and Broadcast Producer leads on the Roundhouse’s film production and live video broadcast/streaming service. This is an essential component in the Roundhouse’s ambition to maximise our digital output and innovation while delivering a whole programme of live online captures and broadcasts and film/video productions. This role is the creative, technical and managerial lead of the team and responsible for driving and managing the research, development and production of all Roundhouse digital video content, working with our producing and marketing teams to produce the highest quality content of Roundhouse work across a variety of platforms.

Working with and reporting to the Joint Head of Broadcast & Digital, it is also a business development growing the income generation through the development of an external client facing production service. This role line manages one direct report and a team of casual broadcast crew and works closely with the Broadcast & Digital Programmes Manager to support the delivery of broadcast, film and other video related creative projects for young people aged 11-25 and to harness emerging talent in the delivery of Roundhouse Film and Broadcast productions.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience of production management, the delivery of live multi-camera productions across multiple performing arts forms, live broadcasting and film production. You will have excellent working knowledge of digital media formats and broadcast technology. You will be able to develop exciting creative responses to a set brief and have experience of commissioning and managing the delivery of film and media productions. You will also have experience of business development and client relationship management in a production service delivery environment. Excellent people management and communication skills are essential as is a desire and aptitude to work with young people creatively.

The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one, due to the nature of the role.
